Elvis Costello's Record Collection (Part Two): mayo 2014

“The Losing End” was performed by Elvis at The Musicares Person of The Year tribute to Neil Young in 2010. Elvis also joined James Taylor on backing vocals for “Heart of Gold”. Tracks 2,3 and 19 were also performed at this concert by other artists..

Elvis played a medley of “The Ways of Love” in a performance of “Veronica” at The Bridge School Benefit in 1990.

Elvis performed “Tell Me Why” in a duet with Emmylou Harris at The Bridge School Benefit in 2010.

Elvis has also performed “Down By The River” on several occasions. The song can be found on vol 19 of Elvis Costello’s Record Collection.

The first in a series of compilations featuring long term collaborators and friends. This one largely features Nick Lowe. Quite a few of these selections have been covered by Elvis or Nick down the years and others come highly recommended by Elvis.
